Description
The SaphIR 854P Table Top receiver features all of the performance of the original 854 receiver, plus plasma-friendly operation.
This plasma IR component is designed with optical filtering to reject noise common to plasma displays, making it an ideal choice for a home theater application. Additionally, the 854P is immune from most sources of IR interference such as compact fluorescent lighting (CFL).
This technical achievement is the result of painstaking testing by Russound engineers with all the major brands of plasma displays to ensure superior noise reduction. For even greater value, SaphIR is one of only two IR lines on the market that is CFL-friendly as a standard feature.
The 854P, available in black, is compatible with most brands of remote controls and popular a/v equipment. It will readily accept IR signal commands from a handheld IR remote control and relay the signals to the audio/video equipment for operation from another room.
