Factory look, aftermarket features
The onscreen menu is incredibly simple to use. Enter an address and the Metra swings into action, directing you on the most efficient route to your destination. Plug your iPod in with the supplied cable, and you can control the music with the Metra's touchscreen. You can fill a microSD card full of music and insert it into the front card slot — it's like having a CD changer without losing any space. The rear USB port allows you to connect a thumb drive full of music.
When you pair up your phone, you'll see your caller's info on the touchscreen, and you'll be able to converse with the touch of your finger. If you connect a rear-view camera to the Metra, you'll see what's behind you on the big screen when you shift into reverse. This Metra receiver features a strong built-in amp to power the speakers in your car, but you'll also find a full set of outputs for driving outboard amps if you're into serious power.
