OVERVIEW

The SecurView™ SV-6903.NV is a high-grade CMOS night vision camera set into a custom third brake light housing designed specifically for use on the Nissan NV van (2009-2013). The camera completely swaps out the factory third brake light on the rear of the van giving it a complete custom camera install without having to drill or modify and exterior body panels on the back of the van.

The brakelight housing is made of the same durable ABS plastic that the factory brake light is made of so the quality is exactly the same. The light housing also has a nice gel coat finish on the outside to allow the LEDs inside the shine brightly when the brake light is illuminated. The durable plastic will allow the light housing to stand up to an harsh rain, snow or sleet weather elements and the gel coat finish on the outside will keep it protected from fading in the ultraviolet rays of the sun. The illumination for the brake light itself is controlled by two bright LEDs mounted inside the brake light housing. The wiring for the brakelight is tied into the existing brake light wiring of the vehcile so that when the driver steps on the brake, the LEDs will illumiate with existing brake lights.

The camera itself uses a high-grade CMOS image sensor to give the best picture and has a wide 130° viewing angle to give the driver the absolute best view behind the van and includes built-in LEDs for night vision to give better illumination at night. The camera lens is angled downward so that when you mount it up high on the back of the vehicle, you will get a better view of the ground and all of the surroundins behind the vehicle making it safer to back up.
